	Michael was born into a musical family in Seattle and went on to attend Ohio State University where he played in several bands that performed covers and originals. He moved to San Antonio in 2005 where he most notably performed with the Retro Specs prior to joining up with the Court Jesters in September 2018. Michael retired as the lead singer of the band in March 2021.
